Using Pages 38-42 from the 2023 dissertation handbook begin writing a first draft of Chapter 3 for a qualitative research study. Follow the directives provided in the handbook. Focused on finding comparative surveys and tools to measure the research questions – attached in J.Bolden Dissertation V12 of current chapter 1 and 2 of dissertation. Fill in chapter 3 into the document and add new reference sources as citations are necessary to prove all statements. Make sure to suggest surveys pre and post and done in 2 week time period with reminders sent via calendar outlook. Make the methodology up from scratch but make sure it is one that is validated and researched to use from the beginning one that I can follow to complete the qualitative study. Add strengthsfinder Gallup assessment into the method tool with citations to support why strengths are important for these leader types and that I will push out an email (create the email draft ) to potential participants and or black women who know some non-profit black women executives. Suggest some hesitation of participation is due to being scared to share their truth being heard from others. Because of a crabs in a barrel some do not want to suffer loss or retaliation of loss of their elite stature. Make sure to approach my planned methodological approach as a qualitative study that includes a survey whose purpose is to provide descriptive data rather than demonstrates statistical significance.
