Then, using the instructions for finding articles of literary criticism at the Alabama Virtual Library (AVL), find two articles on your chosen literary work. Next, complete an annotated bibliography for those articles. For each article, include first the complete MLA works cited entry. The database at the AVL will provide you with the correctly formatted works cited entry by clicking the “Cite” button at the top of the screen when you are viewing a selected article. After you provide the works cited entry for an article, then provide a one-paragraph summary of the article (in about five to seven sentences). Your summary should highlight the key points of the article and include information on how you plan on using the article as support in your documented literary analysis essay.
